On Saturday, September 21, 2024, The Tricar Group will reach an exciting milestone in the construction of their newest London development, The Grove Masonville, with one of the largest raft slab pours ever conducted in London. The pour will take place at 230 North Centre Road, and media are invited to capture footage of this impressive operation from outside the perimeter of the project site.

• Time: Start Approx. 7 AM
• Location: 230 North Centre Road, London, Ontario

This massive concrete pour, totalling 4,500 cubic metres (equivalent to 125 single-family home foundations), will be completed in under 15 hours. In a coordinated effort, 100 concrete trucks will be in continuous operation, delivering 500 loads of concrete from three major suppliers: Dufferin Concrete, Dutch Brothers Ready Mix, and Teeswater Concrete. Five concrete pumps will distribute the material efficiently across the slab.

Important Information: Due to the scale of this operation, a portion of Richmond Street will be temporarily closed, and minor detours will be in place. Local residents and emergency services have been notified of the closure and provided with alternate routes.

“This raft slab pour represents a significant milestone achievement in the construction of The Grove Masonville. It’s an exciting step forward in bringing this premier rental community to London’s north end, and we’re proud of the collaboration it has taken to make this possible,” says Adam Carapella, Vice President of Tricar. Project Details: Set in London’s prestigious north end, The Grove Masonville will be an 11-storey rental development offering 217 suites of 1- and 2-bedroom premier apartment rentals. Occupancy is anticipated for early 2027, and the project is set to elevate the rental living experience in the city.

Please note that there will be no media access within the project site during the pour due to safety considerations. Ground footage can be captured from outside the site fence.
